Recently, my son Manoj was interviewed for a radio program called the Full Story on WSHU.

The subject of the broadcast was immigrant entrepreneurs and their contribution to the economy.

This is a subject that I am very familiar with. I emigrated to the United States from India in 1971 and created Sai Systems Laboratories in 1987.

excellence

Aim to deliver results and exceed expectations in everything you do.

It’s an idea that when put into action produces extraordinary results, but do not be fooled by the simplicity of this statement. Within this mantra are three challenges and the challenges grow in difficulty as the statement is put into practice.

independence

The Fourth of July commemorates the independence of the United States of America. It is also a day to celebrate our personal freedoms and our own journeys towards independence.

But let us not allow our freedom to be misconstrued as entitlement, but rather let our success and independence grow our sense of responsibility to one another.

seva

Seva has been mentioned frequently in my messages. It is the Sanskrit term for selfless service. We have since incorporated Seva as one of our essential core values.

values

When building anything a strong foundation is essential for success. This holds true for building strong companies.

The base of that strength lies in an organization’s culture and the culture is a manifestation of its values.

seva

We believe that one person can make a difference, but that a team is unstoppable.

As part of the Saisystems International group of friends, you displayed this truth by answering our call for charity drawing nominations in full force. You demonstrated unmatched generosity, captivating us with your outpouring of love, support, and Seva for local nonprofits.
